Strategic Considerations
As a venture-backed startup, 4Sight Labs needed to simultaneously communicate to multiple audiences: law enforcement decision-makers, investors, potential partners, and future markets. Their biometric technology represented a significant innovation in preventing in-custody deaths, but required careful positioning to emphasize how it benefits both those in custody and the officers responsible for their care.
We worked closely with their leadership team to craft messaging that acknowledged the challenges faced by law enforcement while emphasizing the life-saving potential of their technology – creating a narrative that all stakeholders could embrace.

The Logo & Visual Identity
We collaborated with the inimitable Chase Estes to develop a sophisticated visual identity that could stand shoulder-to-shoulder with established players in the law enforcement space while maintaining versatility for future expansion into healthcare.
Four geometric cubes serve as building blocks for the logo mark, coming together to create an 'aperture' that symbolizes insight into people's health and well-being. The dimensional quality suggests depth of technology and capability, while the opening represents visibility into vital signs and health metrics.



Colors & Typography
We developed a "Loyal Blue" and "Emergency Yellow" palette that conveys authority with dark backgrounds for law enforcement, yet transitions seamlessly to healthcare contexts with lighter canvases.
For typography, we paired a precise, technical typeface for headings that signal device manufacturing expertise with a humanist body font that brings approachability and readability to complex technical content.



Website Design & Development
The website needed to communicate sophisticated technology while being accessible to various stakeholders. Our solution included:
- Technical Implementation: We built a headless CMS architecture using Craft CMS with a custom frontend, giving 4Sight Labs the flexibility to easily update content while maintaining the sophisticated design elements. The site was optimized for performance and constructed for extensibility as the company grows.
- Visual Language: Dynamic layouts based on the angled lines in the logo bring energy to the pages, while dark backgrounds and carefully selected imagery establish a serious, urgent tone appropriate to their mission-critical technology.
- User Experience: The site architecture was designed to quickly communicate value to different stakeholders, with dedicated sections addressing the needs of law enforcement decision-makers, potential partners, and investors.

Comprehensive Marketing Ecosystem
Beyond digital, we extended the 4Sight Labs brand across their entire marketing ecosystem:
